asset-tag
The asset-tag Global Configuration mode command specifies the asset tag of the device. To return
to the default configuration, use the no form of the command.
Syntax
• asset-tag [ unit unit ] tag
• no asset-tag [ unit unit ]
•
unit — Specifies the number of the unit. (Range: 1 - 8)
•
tag — Specifies the asset tag of the device. (Range: 1 - 16 characters)
Default Configuration
No asset tag is defined.
The default unit number is that of the master unit
