line
The line Global Configuration mode command identifies a specific line for configuration and
enters the Line Configuration command mode.
Syntax
• line { console | telnet | ssh }
•
console — Console terminal line.
•
telnet — Virtual terminal for remote console access (Telnet).
•
ssh — Virtual terminal for secured remote console access (SSH).
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Examples
The following example configures the device as a virtual terminal for remote console access.
speed
The speed Line Configuration mode command sets the line baud rate.
