ACL Commands
mac access-list
The mac access-list Global Configuration mode command creates Layer 2 ACLs. To delete an
ACL, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
mac access-list
name
no mac access-list
name

—Specifies the name of the ACL.
Default Configuration
The default for all ACLs is permit all.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example shows how to create a MAC ACL.
deny (MAC)
The deny MAC-Access List Configuration mode command denies traffic if the conditions
defined in the deny statement match.
Syntax
deny
destination
• destination — Specifies the MAC address of the host to which the packet is being sent.
Console(config)# mac access-list macl-1
Console(config-mac-al)#
