Example
The following example configures Ethernet port 1/e15 to the default trust state.
qos cos
The qos cos Interface Configuration (Ethernet, Port-channel) mode command defines the
default CoS value of a port. To return to the default configuration, use the no form of this
command.
Syntax
qos cos
default-cos
no qos cos

default-cos
— Specifies the default CoS value of the port. (Range: 0 - 7)
Default Configuration
Default CoS value of a port is 0.

User Guidelines
• If the port is trusted, the default CoS value of the port is used to assign a CoS value to all
untagged packets entering the port.
Example
The following example configures port 1/e15 default CoS value to 3.
console(config)# interface ethernet 1/e15
console(config-if) qos trust
Console(config)# interface ethernet 1/e15
Console(config-if) qos cos 3
