name (mst)
The name MST Configuration mode command defines the MST region name. To return to the
default setting, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
name string
no name
• string— MST configuration name. Case-sensitive (Range: 1-32 characters).
Default Configuration
The default name is a bridge ID.

The following example defines the configuration name as region1.
revision (mst)
The revision MST configuration command defines the MST region revision number. To return
to the default configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
revision value
no revision
•value— Configuration revision number (Range: 0-65535).
Default Configuration
The default configuration revision number is 0.
