set interface active
The set interface active Privileged EXEC mode command reactivates an interface that was
shutdown.

This command is used to activate interfaces that were configured to be active, but were
shutdown by the system for some reason (e.g.,
port security)
.
Example
The following example reactivates interface 1/e5.
show interfaces advertise
The show interfaces advertise Privileged EXEC mode command displays autonegotiation data.
Console> clear counters ethernet 1/e1
Console# set interface active ethernet 1/e5
