show running-config
The show running-config Privileged EXEC mode command displays the contents of the
currently running configuration file.
Syntax
show running-config
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Privileged EXEC mode
User Guidelines
• This command displays the factory default settings at the end of the running configuration
file contents.
Examples
The following example displays the contents of the running configuration file.
Device# show running-config
software version 1.1
hostname device
interface ethernet 1/e1
ip address 176.242.100.100 255.255.255.0
duplex full
speed 1000
interface ethernet 1/e2
