• Use the
sntp client enable (Interface)
Interface Configuration mode command to enable the
SNTP client on a specific interface.
Examples
The following example enables the SNTP broadcast clients.
sntp anycast client enable
The sntp anycast client enable Global Configuration mode command enables SNTP anycast
client. To disable the SNTP anycast client, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
sntp anycast client enable
no sntp anycast client enable
Default Configuration
The SNTP anycast client is disabled.

Examples
The following example enables SNTP anycast clients.
sntp client enable (Interface)
The sntp client enable Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel, VLAN) mode
command enables the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) client on an interface. This
applies to both receive broadcast and anycast updates. To disable the SNTP client, use the no
form of this command.
Console(config)# sntp broadcast client enable
