Usage
Information
The hostname is used in the prompt.
ip ftp password
Specify a password for outgoing FTP connections.
Syntax
ip ftp password [encryption-type] password
To remove a password and return to the default setting, use the no ip ftp password [password]
command.
Parameters
encryption-type (OPTIONAL) Enter one of the following numbers:
● 0 (zero) for an unecrypted (clear text) password
● 7 (seven) for a hidden text password
password Enter a string up to 40 characters as the password.
Defaults Not configured.
