Usage
Information
The following describes the show ip pim interface command shown in the following example.
Field Description
Address Lists the IP addresses of the interfaces participating in PIM.
Interface List the interface type, with either slot/port information or ID (VLAN or Port
Channel), of the interfaces participating in PIM.
Ver/Mode Displays the PIM version number and mode for each interface participating in PIM:
v2 = PIM version 2
S = PIM Sparse mode
Nbr Count Displays the number of PIM neighbors discovered over this interface.
Query Intvl Displays the query interval for Router Query messages on that interface
(configured with ip pim query-interval command).
DR Prio Displays the Designated Router priority value configured on the interface (use the
ip pim dr-priority command).
DR Displays the IP address of the Designated Router for that interface.
The show ip pim interface command does not display information corresponding to the loop-back
interfaces.
Example
show ip pim neighbor
View PIM neighbors.
Syntax
show ip pim [vrf vrf-name] neighbor
Parameters
vrf
vrf-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to configure
this setting on that VRF.
