For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback then a number from 0
to 16383.
For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a
number. The range is from 1 to 128.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.
priority
(OPTIONAL) Enter the priority used in Bootstrap election process. The range is
zero (0) to 255. The default is 192.
acl-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the name of an ACL to configure a PIM router to act as an RP
for a specific set of multicast group addresses that are defined in the ACL.
Defaults Not configured.

Priority is stored at BSR router when receiving a Candidate-RP-Advertisement.

Enable PIM sparse mode and IGMP on the interface.
Syntax
ip pim sparse-mode
To disable PIM sparse mode and IGMP, use the no ip pim sparse-mode command.
Defaults Disabled.

Usage
Information
The interface must be enabled (the no shutdown command) and not have the switchport command
configured. Multicast must also be enabled globally (using the ip multicast-lag-hashing
command). PIM is supported on the port-channel interface.
ip pim sparse-mode sg-expiry-timer
Enable expiry timers globally for all sources, or for a specific set of (S,G) pairs an access list defines.
Syntax
ip pim sparse-mode sg-expiry-timer seconds [access-list name]
To disable configured timers and return to default mode, use the no ip pim sparse-mode sg-
expiry-timer command.
