Usage
Information
After you enable FTP server functions with the ftp-server enable command, Dell Networking
recommends specifying a top-level directory path. Without a top-level directory path specified, the Dell
Networking OS directs users to the flash directory when logging in to the FTP server.

ftp-server enable enables FTP server functions on the M I/O Aggregator.
ftp-server username sets a username and password for incoming FTP connections to the M I/O
Aggregator.
ftp-server username
Create a user name and associated password for incoming FTP server sessions.
Syntax
ftp-server username username password [encryption-type] password
Parameters
username
Enter a text string up to 40 characters long as the user name.
password
password
Enter the keyword password then a string up to 40 characters long as the
password. Without specifying an encryption type, the password is unencrypted.
encryption-type
(OPTIONAL) After the keyword password, enter one of the following numbers:
0 (zero) for an unecrypted (clear text) password
7 (seven) for a hidden text password
Defaults Not enabled.
