Usage
Information
The secured CLI mode prevents the users from enhancing the permissions or promoting the privilege
levels. After entering the command, save the running-configuration.
Once you save the running-configuration, the secured CLI mode is enabled. If you do not want to enter
the secured mode, do not save the running-configuration.
Once saved, to disable the secured CLI mode, you need to manually edit the startup-configuration file and
reboot the system.
timeout login response
Specify how long the software waits for the login input (for example, the user name and password) before timing out.
Syntax
timeout login response seconds
To return to the default values, use the no timeout login response command.
Parameters
seconds
Enter a number of seconds the software waits before logging you out. The range is:
VTY: the range is from 1 to 30 seconds, the default is 30 seconds.
Console: the range is from 1 to 300 seconds, the default is 0 seconds (no
timeout).
AUX: the range is from 1 to 300 seconds, the default is 0 seconds (no
timeout).
