Upgrading the CXP Module CPLD image
The S6100-ON system with Dell EMC Networking OS Version 9.14(2.9) requires CXP MODULE CPLD image 5. To display the
CXP module CPLD version currently running on an S6100-ON, use the show revision command.
NOTE: The upgrade fpga-image mod-id stack-unit 1 booted command is hidden when using the feature in
the CLI. However, it is a supported command. The mod-id option represents the ID of the module slot on the S6100–ON.
To upgrade the CPLD image, follow these steps.
1. Upgrade the CXP module CPLD image.

NOTE: In this example, the CXP Module is in slot 2.

Upgrading the 40G Module CPLD image
The S6100-ON system with Dell EMC Networking OS Version 9.14(2.9) requires 40G MODULE CPLD image 12. To display the
40G module CPLD version currently running on an S6100-ON, use the show revision command.
NOTE:
The upgrade fpga-image mod-id stack-unit 1 booted command is hidden when using the feature in
the CLI. However, it is a supported command. The mod-id option represents the ID of the module slot on the S6100–ON.
Upgrade the 40G module CPLD image.
