ipv6 pim bsr-candidate
Configure the router as a bootstrap (BSR) candidate.
Syntax
ipv6 pim bsr-candidate interface [hash-mask-length] [priority]
To disable the bootstrap candidate, use the no ipv6 pim bsr-candidate command.
Parameters
interface
Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number information:
For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback then a number from 0
to 16383.
For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a
number.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the
slot/port information.
For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.
hash-mask-
length
(OPTIONAL) Enter the hash mask length for RP selection. The range is from 0 to
128. The default is 126.
priority
(OPTIONAL) Enter the priority value for Bootstrap election process. The range is
from 0 to 255. The default is 0.

ipv6 pim dr-priority
Change the designated router (DR) priority for the IPv6 interface.
Syntax
ipv6 pim dr-priority priority-value
To remove the DR priority value assigned, use the no ipv6 pim dr-priority command.
