size of unused peak bandwidth that is aggregated. This aggregated bandwidth enables brief durations of
burst traffic that exceeds the peak rate and committed burst. Committed rate refers to the guaranteed
bandwidth for traffic entering or leaving the interface under normal network conditions. When traffic
propagates at an average rate that is less than or equal to the committed rate, it is considered to be
green-colored or coded. When the transmitted traffic falls below the committed rate, the bandwidth,
which is not used by any traffic that is traversing the network, is aggregated to form the committed burst
size. Traffic is considered to be green-colored up to the point at which the unused bandwidth does not
exceed the committed burst size.

resequence class-map
Allows you to renumber the rules in a class-map.
Syntax

increment sequence number}
Parameters
class-map
class-
map name
Enter the keyword class-map then the class-map name.
starting
sequence number
Enter the starting sequence number to resequence. The range is from 1 to 10.

History
This guide is platform-specific. For command information about other platforms, see the relevant Dell
EMC Networking OS Command Line Reference Guide.
Version Description
9.12(0.0) Introduced the resequence option for class-map on all the Dell EMC Networking
OS platforms.
Usage
Information
If there is no option to create a new rule and to avoid reconfiguring class-map, use the resequence
class-map command. This allows you to create numbering spaces.
service-policy input
Apply an input policy map to the selected interface.
S6000
Syntax
service-policy input policy-map-name [layer2]
To remove the input policy map from the interface, use the no service-policy input policy-
map-name [layer2] command.
Parameters
policy-map-name
Enter the name for the policy map in character format (32 characters maximum).
You can identify an existing policy map or name one that does not yet exist.
layer2 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword layer2 to specify a Layer 2 Class Map. The
default is Layer 3.
