Splitting 100G Ports
The platform supports splitting a single 100G QSFP 28 port into any of the following ports:
● Two 50G ports
● Four 25G ports
● One 40G port
● Four 10G ports
NOTE:
You can use the supported breakout cables (for a list of supported cables, refer to the Installation Guide or the
Release Notes).
To split a single 100G port into 50G, 25G, 40G, and 10G ports, use the following commands:
● Split a 100G port into two 50G ports.
CONFIGURATION Mode
stack-unit stack-unit-number module module-number port number portmode dual speed 50G
○ stack-unit-number: enter the stack member unit identifier on which the port resides.
○ module module-number: enter the keyword module then the module number to specify the optional module in which the
port is present.
○ number: enter the port number of the 100G port to be split. The range is from 1 to 8.
● Split a 100G port into four 25G ports.

○ stack-unit-number: enter the stack member unit identifier on which the port resides.
○ module module-number: enter the keyword module then the module number to specify the optional module in which the
port is present.

● Split a 100G port into one 40G ports.
