Configure DCBX operation at the INTERFACE level on a switch or globally on the switch. To verify the
DCBX configuration on a port, use the show interface dcbx detail command.
If you use the auto-upstream option and the port does not come up on a switch from a different
vendor, manually configure the version a CEE on the peer device.
dcbx version
Configure the DCBX version used on the interface.
Syntax
dcbx version {auto | cee | ieee-v2.5}
To remove the DCBX version, use the dcbx version {auto | cee | ieee-v2.5} command.
Parameters
auto | cee | ieee-
v2.5
Enter the DCBX version type used on the interface, where:
auto: configures the port to operate using the DCBX version received from a
peer.
cee: configures the port to use CDD (Intel 1.01).
ieee-v2: configures the port to use IEEE 802.1az (Draft 2.5).

Information
DCBX requires that you enable LLDP to advertise DCBX TLVs to peers.
Configure DCBX operation at the INTERFACE level on a switch or globally on the switch. To verify the
DCBX configuration on a port, use the show interface dcbx detail command.
debug dcbx
Enable DCBX debugging.
Syntax
debug dcbx {all | auto-detect-timer | config-exchng | fail | mgmt |
resource | sem | tlv}
To disable DCBX debugging, use the no debug dcbx command.

Enter the type of debugging, where:
all: enables all DCBX debugging operations.
auto-detect-timer: enables traces for DCBX auto-detect timers.
config-exchng: enables traces for DCBX configuration exchanges.
