Installing Dell EMC Networking OS on the Z9100-ON
using ONIE
NOTE:
You will need the Dell Networking OS installer package, ONIE-FTOS-Z9100-ON-9.14.2.10.bin to install the
Dell EMC Networking OS on your Z9100-ON system that has only ONIE.
To install the Dell EMC Networking OS version 9.14(2.10) on a new Z9100-ON device, perform the following steps:
1. Reboot the system. During the reboot process, the system displays the following message prompting you to press the Esc
key in order to stop the auto-boot process:
Press Esc to stop autoboot ... 5

2. At this prompt message, press the Esc key. The following menu appears:

Use the ^ and v keys to select which entry is highlighted.
Press enter to boot the selected OS, 'f' to boot FTOS, 'b' to go to
BLI, 'o' to boot ONIE, 'd' to boot DIAG-OS, 'e' to edit the commands
before booting or 'c' for a command-line.
3. From the menu, choose the ONIE option.
NOTE:
To choose an option from the menu, highlight one of the options using the up or down arrow key and press
Enter.
