This command is found on the Management interface only.

stack-unit portmode
Split a single 40G port into four 10G ports.
Syntax
stack-unit stack-unit port number portmode quad
Parameters
stack-unit
Enter the stack member unit identifier of the stack member to reset.
number
Enter the port number of the port to be split. The total number of ports are 32. The
range is from 1 to 32.
port Enter the keyword port then the port number to specify the port where fanout
mode is specified.
Defaults Disabled.

Usage
Information
You can split a 40G port into four 10G ports.
You can use the stack-unit portmode command to dynamically fan-out 40G ports into 10G ports
and vice-versa without reloading a switch.
The port must be in a default configuration before it can be split. As the 40G port is lost in the
configuration when the port is split, ensure that you remove the port from other L2/L3 feature
configurations.
You cannot use this command if you use an LR4 optics.
