Upgrading the CPLD and FPGA Images
To upgrade CPLD and FPGA images on the C9010, you must upgrade the CPLD, FPGA, microcontroller (MSS) FPGA, and MSS
inapplication programming (IAP) images on each component. There are separate commands for each operation.
If the C9010 is running Dell EMC Networking OS 9.14(1.2) or earlier, upgrade to:
RPM MSS FPGA version 3.12
RPM IAP version 3.2
RPM CPLD version 3.7
RPM FPGA version 2.0
Line-card MSS FPGA version 3.10
Line-card IAP version 3.2
Line-card CPLD version 3.2
PE CPLD version 25
PE PoE Controller version 2.65
If your system is loaded with a CPLD and an FPGA version that are the same or higher than these versions, do not upgrade the
CPLD or FPGA.
Your system must have the Dell EMC Networking OS 9.11(0.0P1) loaded before you can upgrade the CPLD and FPGA images.
To view the CPLD and FPGA versions packed with Dell EMC Networking OS 9.11(0.0P1), enter the show revision command
in EXEC PRIVILEGE mode.
