3. From a console attached to the primary RPM, upgrade the boot selector (BIOS) image on the primary RPM and all line cards
installed in the C9010.

NOTE:
To upgrade the boot selector image only on C9010 line cards:
upgrade bootselector-image linecard [all | {0–11}] [booted | [[flash: | ftp: | scp: |
tftp: | usbflash:] file-url]]
Where [[flash: | ftp: | scp: | tftp:| usbflash:] file-url] specifies the file transfer method and location of the boot selector
image file used to upgrade the C9010, and is in one of the following formats:
● ftp://user-id:password@host-ip/file-path
● scp://user-id:password@host-ip/file-path
● tftp://host-ip/file-path
● flash://directory-path/filename
● usbflash://directory-path/filename
To upgrade the boot selector image on a standby RPM, see Step 2.
4. If the C9010 uses a standby RPM, upgrade the boot selector image on the standby RPM:
a. Connect the C9010 console to the console port on the standby RPM and log in.
b. Upgrade the boot selector image on the standby RPM.
