48 Setting Up an iSCSI Cluster
4 Click Configure .
5 Click Advanced .
6 Select Jumbo Packet , and set its value to 9014 bytes.
7 Select Performance Options , then click Properties .
The
Performance Options window is displayed.
8 Select Flow Control , and set its value to Rx & Tx Enabled .
9 Repeat step 3 to step 8 for all other network interfaces used for iSCSI
traffic.
Configuring Host Access to Volumes
Installing and Configuring Dell EqualLogic Host Integration Tool (HIT) Kit
1 Download the latest HIT tool kit on your database server.
2 Double click setup64.exe to launch the installation window.
3 In the Welcome to the Host Integration Tools 3.5.1 Installation Program
window, click Next .
4 In the License Agreements window, select I accept the terms of all the
license agreements
, and click Next .
5 On the Installation Type window, select Ty pi c a l and click Next .
NOTE: If the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator service not running window is displayed
then click No.
6 On the Ready to install the components window, click Install .
The
Installation Status window and the Software Update Installation
Wizard
window are displayed.
NOTE: If the Microsoft Multipath I/O feature not detected window is
displayed then click Yes to install MS Multipath I/O automatically.
NOTE: If the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator service not running window is
displayed then click Yes.
NOTE: If the iSCSI Initiator Properties window is displayed then click Cancel.

Initiator" on page 49).
7 On the Installation Complete window, select Launch Remote Setup
Wizard
, and click Finish .
