Installing Oracle 11g R1 Patchset 11.1.0.7
1 Ensure that only 11.1.0.6 Clusterware and 11.1.0.6 Database binaries
are installed on your system and that the seed database is not created yet.
2 Download the patchset 11.1.0.7 from the Oracle Metalink website at
metalink.oracle.com . Search for patch number 6890831 and select Microsoft
Windows x64 (64-bit)
as the platform or language.
3 Unzip the patchset to %SystemDrive%.
Installing Patchset 11.1.0.7 for Oracle 11g Clusterware
Before You Begin
Before you install patchset 11.1.0.7 for Oracle 11g Clusterware on your system,
perform the following steps:

Stop nodeapps on all the nodes. Enter the following:
%SystemDrive%\%CRS_HOME%\bin> srvctl stop nodeapps -
n <node name>
where %SystemDrive% is the drive on which Oracle home is configured and
%CRS_HOME% is the home directory that you created in "Installing Oracle
Clusterware Version 11.1.0.6"
2 Start the Service window by navigating Start → Programs → Administrative
Tools
→ Services .
3 Locate all Oracle services and stop them on both nodes.
Installing the Patchset
NOTE: You must install the patchset software from the node where the RAC 11g R1
software was installed.
1 Start the OUI located in the patchset folder. For example:
%SystemDrive%\Oracle_patch\setup.exe
where %SystemDrive% is the drive on which you unzipped the Oracle
patchset.
2 In the Welcome screen, click Next .
3 In the Specify home details window, select name as OraCR11g_home
from the drop-down menu and click
Next .
