Minimum Hardware Requirements
The following sections list the hardware requirements for fibre channel, direct-
attached SAS, and iSCSI configurations. For more information on specific hardware
components, see the documentation included with your system.
NOTE: Depending on the number of users, the applications you use, your batch
processes, and other factors, you may need a system that exceeds the minimum
hardware requirements to achieve desired performance.
Minimum Hardware Requirements for a Fibre Channel Configuration
Table 2 through Table 3 indicate the minimum hardware requirements for a fibre
channel cluster and single node configuration.
NOTE: The hardware configuration of all the nodes in a cluster must be identical.
