At the command prompt, type the following fdisk utility argument:
w
The system displays the following message:
The partition table has been altered!
Calling ioctl() to re-read partition table.
Syncing disks.

Before You Begin Using OCFS2
1 Log in as root .
2 Navigate to the directory containing the scripts installed from the Dell
Deployment
CD by typing:
cd /dell-oracle-deployment/scripts/standard

Install all OCFS packages, by typing:
./340-rpms-ocfs.py

Repeat step 1 and step 2 on all other nodes.

On the first node :
1 Log in as root .
2 Perform the following steps:
a Start the X Window System by typing:
startx
