Storage SCSI disk devices
do not appear.
On the Windows desktop, when you
right-click My Computer, select
Computer Management, and then
click Disk drivers, the SCSI disk
devices do not appear.
Causes:
• The LUNs are not assigned to the
cluster nodes.
• Improper cabling.
• The HBA drivers are not installed
on the cluster node(s).
Ensure that the storage LUNs are assigned
to both cluster nodes.
Perform the following steps.
1 On the Windows desktop, right-click
My Computer and select Manage .
2 In the Manage window, expand Device
Manager
.
3 In the right window pane, right-click the
host computer name and select
Scan
for hardware changes
.
4 Repeat step 3 until the disk devices
appear.
5 Restart the system (if required).
Ensure that the fiber-optic cables
connected to the cluster nodes and storage
system are installed correctly.
