Verifying Cluster Hardware and Software Configurations
Before you begin cluster setup, ensure that the hardware installation, public and private interfaces, and
the node software are configured correctly. The following sections provide information about the
Fibre Channel cluster setup.
Setting Up Your Fibre Channel Cluster
Your Dell Professional Services representative completed the setup of your Fibre Channel cluster. After
the setup is completed, verify the hardware connections and the hardware and software configurations as
described in this section.
Figure 1-1 and Table 1-4 illustrate the required cluster connections for a direct-attached Fibre
Channel cluster.
Figure 1-2 and Table 1-5 illustrate the required cluster connections for a storage area network (SAN)
attached Fibre Channel cluster.
