8 Software and Hardware Requirements
Minimum Hardware Requirements
The following sections list the hardware requirements for Fibre Channel,
direct-attached SAS, and iSCSI configurations. For more information on
specific hardware components, see the documentation that shipped with
your system. For more information about Dell Supported hardware
configurations, see the SDL for each Dell validated component at
dell.com/oracle.
NOTE: To achieve the desired performance, choose a system that exceeds the
minimum hardware requirements based on the number of users, the applications
you use, and the batch processes.
Minimum Hardware Requirements for a Fibre Channel Configuration
Table 2-2 through Table 2-3 indicate the minimum hardware requirements
for a Fibre Channel cluster and single-node configuration.
NOTE: The hardware configuration of all the nodes in a cluster must be identical.
