Database Deployment
This document applies to Oracle Database 10g R2 on Red Hat Enterprise
Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5 AS x86_64.
Required Documentation for Deploying
the Dell|Oracle Database
The Dell Oracle Database Deployment documentation set is organized into
a series of modules:
• Operating System and Hardware Installation Guide —Describes the
required minimum hardware and software versions, how to install and
configure the operating system, how to verify the hardware and software
configurations, and how to obtain open source files.

Storage and Networking Guide —Describes the installation and
configuration of storage and the network solutions.
•
Oracle Database Setup and Installation Guide —Describes the installation
and configuration of the Oracle Database.

Troubleshooting Guide —Describes troubleshooting procedures to resolve
errors encountered during the installation of the Oracle database.
