Configuring the Listener
This section describes the steps to configure the listener, which is required for remote client connection
to a database.
On one node only, perform the following steps:

Log in as
root

Start the X Window System by typing:
startx

Open a terminal window and type:
xhost +

As the user
oracle
, type
netca
to start the Net Configuration Assistant.

Select
Cluster Configuration
and click
Next
.

In the
TOPSNodes
window, click
Select All Nodes
and click
Next
.

Welcome
window, select
Listener Configuration
and click
Next
.

Listener Configuration

Listener
window, select
Add
and click
Next

window, type
LISTENER
in the
Listener Name
field

Select Protocols

TCP

of 1521

Creating the Seed Database Using OCFS2
