Transporting sensitive components When transporting ESD sensitive components such as replacement parts or parts to be returned to Dell, it is critical to place these parts in anti-static bags for safe transport. 2 Installing the remote power switch 1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer. 2. Connect the power switch and PS/2 cable as shown below. 3. Pull the sleeve [1] and insert the cable to the PS/2 connector on the computer [2].
4. Loosen the nut [1] and push the nut downward [2].
5. Insert the switch through an outlet on a wall/surface and tighten the nut to secure the switch to the wall/surface.
