variable is generated by the firmware and is displayed with the alert in the alert log. This text can vary depending
on the situation.
Action: Verify the health of attached devices. Review the alert log for significant events. Run the PHY integrity
diagnostic tests. You may need to replace faulty hardware. Make sure that the cables are attached securely. See
the hardware documentation for more information.

Cause: You are attempting to rebuild data that resides on a defective disk.
Action: Replace the source disk and restore from backup.
Software RAID:
• Perform a backup with the Verify option.
• If the file backup fails, try to restore the failed file from a previous backup.
• When the backup with the Verify option is complete without any errors, delete the Virtual Disk.
• Recreate a new Virtual Disk with new drives.
• Restore the data from backup.
