Cause and Action Cause: The controller firmware attempted a SMART polling on the hot spare but was unable to complete it. The
controller has lost communication with the hot spare.
Action: Check the health of the disk assigned as a hot spare. You may need to replace the disk and reassign the
hot spare. Make sure the cables are attached securely. See the
Server Administrator Storage Management User’s
Guide, for more information on checking the cables.
