Description
SCSI sense sector reassign.
Severity Warning / Non-critical
Cause and Action Cause: A sector of the physical disk is corrupted and data cannot be maintained on this portion of the disk. This
alert is for informational purposes.
CAUTION: Any data residing on the corrupt portion of the disk may be lost and you may need to restore
your data from backup.
Action: If the physical disk is part of a non-redundant virtual disk, then back up the data and replace the physical
disk.
CAUTION: Removing a physical disk that is included in a non-redundant virtual disk causes the virtual
disk to fail and may cause data loss.
If the disk is part of a redundant virtual disk, then any data residing on the corrupt portion of the disk is reallocated
elsewhere in the virtual disk.
