Severity Error
Cause A memory device correction rate exceeded an acceptable value, a memory spare bank was activated, or a multi-
bit ECC error occurred. The system continues to function normally (except for a multi-bit error). Replace the
memory module identified in the message during the system’s next scheduled maintenance. Clear the memory
error on multi-bit ECC error. The memory device status and possible memory module event cause information is
provided.

Severity Informational
Cause Memory device status is nonrecoverable. The memory module failed because of an irrecoverable error.
