1 Overview This document provides information about the interoperability of the OpenManage software products. NOTE: Upgrade the OpenManage components to the latest version to effectively use the latest features. 2 OpenManage Software Compatibility Matrix This section describes the compatibility among the OpenManage products. NOTE: Dell recommends using the Embedded Management, Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 (iDRAC9) with Lifecycle Controller instead of Dell Systems Build and Update Utility (SBUU). SBUU is replaced with Lifecycle Controller on Dell’s 14th generation PowerEdge servers.

NOTE: Dell recommends using integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 (iDRAC9) with Dell Lifecycle Controller instead of Dell Systems Build and Update Utility (SBUU), as SBUU is not supported on Dell 14G servers. iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller is an Embedded Systems Management application, available on Dell 11G and later servers, for operating system deployment and lifecycle management of PowerEdge servers. You can access Dell Lifecycle Controller by pressing during system boot up.
