Action: Replace the failed or non-functional disk. You can identify a disk that has failed by locating the disk that
displays a red X in the status eld.
If the physical disk is part of a redundant array, then rebuild the physical disk. When nished, restart the
reconguration.
Software RAID:
• Perform a backup with the Verify option.
• If the le backup fails, try to restore the failed le from a previous backup.
• When the backup with the Verify option is complete without any errors, delete the Virtual Disk.
• Recreate a new Virtual Disk with new drives.
• Restore the data from backup.
