2 In-band server management and monitoring In-band server management is the process of managing and monitoring servers using operating system tools, and other inbuilt tools, using Dell OpenManage Server Administrator. Supported Dell OpenManage Systems Management Software Dell OpenManage systems management software is a suite of applications for Dell systems. This software allows you to manage your system with proactive monitoring, notification, and remote access.

3 Out-of-band server management and monitoring Out-of-band server management is the process of remotely managing and monitoring servers using Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) with Lifecycle Controller.
