Operating Systems
A ' D ' in the intersection of the operating system and the Dell system columns indicates support for DUPs. The Dell Update
Package (DUP) is a self-contained executable in a standard package format that updates an application or component firmware
on a server. Using Dell Repository Manager along with other tools helps to keep the managed systems up-to-date.
An ' S ' in the intersection of the operating system and the Dell system columns indicates support for SUU. The Dell Server
Update Utility (SUU) helps to identify and apply updates to a managed system. Use this utility to update the managed system or
to view the updates available for the supported systems.
A ' L ' in the intersection of the operating system and the Dell system columns indicates support for Dell System Update Linux
Repository information — Formerly known as Dell System Update repository.
NOTE: SUU is used for server updates and may not work on newly released Dell systems that do not receive any server
updates.
