Matrix Information Structure
The products on the left-hand side of the matrix are the main products under the various categories and
the products on the right-hand side of the matrix are the other products that are required by the main
product to function, or are compatible with the main product.
* Indicates that the product on the left-hand side is dependent on the particular
product version on the right-hand side.
NA Indicates that the product on the left-hand side is not dependent or not applicable
for the product on the right-hand side.
All Indicates all the versions of the software supported.
Naming Convention For Dell PowerEdge Systems
The naming convention used for Dell PowerEdge systems is as follows:
For the 13th generation of PowerEdge systems:
Type of Server Specifics
R indicates Rack
T indicates Tower
Overall Performance Generation Processor
1 to 5 : Low End Server
5 to 10 : High End Server
3 indicates Dell 13th
generation PowerEdge
servers
0 — Intel Processor
5 — AMD Processor
For example: Dell PE R730 is Rack , Dell 13th generation PowerEgde server.
