Dell Update Packages
The Dell Update Package is a self-contained executable in a standard package format that updates an application or
component firmware on a server. Using the Dell Repository Manager along with other OpenManage tools you can
ensure that the managed systems are up-to-date.
DUPs are available for components such as BIOS, Embedded Systems Management (ESM) firmware, iDRAC firmware,
RAID controller firmware, NIC firmware, OpenManage application, and so on.

Dell OpenManage Server Update Utility
The Dell Server Update Utility (SUU) is an application (available in both DVD or .iso format) for identifying and applying
updates to your system. You can use this utility to update managed system or to view the updates available for systems
that it supports. The application compares the versions of components currently installed on the system with the
available updates for those components. You can download SUU from dell.com/support/manuals or order it as part of
the OpenManage Subscription Kit. Additionally, use Dell Repository Manager to create a customized SUU that contains
only the updates available for the systems that are managed.

Dell PowerEdge Driver Maintenance Pack
The Dell PowerEdge Driver Maintenance Pack provides updates grouped using Microsoft Windows Server that enabled
you to manage and deploy updates from within the operating system.
Yellowdog Updater, Modified
The Yellowdog Updater, Modified repository provides updatesRed Hat and SuSE operating systems in the RPM Package
Manager format that is utilized by the Open source YUM Tool.
