1. Introduction
The Dell Systems Management Software Support Matrix helps identify Dell OpenManage
software and other Dell components supported on Dell PowerEdge/PowerVault systems,
browsers, and operating systems.
This guide is intended for system administrators and technicians. The guide provides
information about the available Dell systems, the operating systems supported by
these systems, and the Dell OpenManage components that can be installed on these systems.
What is New in This Release?
This release adds support for the following:
• Support for Windows Server 2012.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3.
• CMC 4.3.
• iDRAC7 1.30.30.
• OpenManage PowerCenter 1.2.
• Updated the browser support for different versions of Safari, Mac OSX, Mozilla Firefox
and Google Chrome.
• VMware ESXi 4.1 U3.
• XenServer 6.1.
• The Systems Management Tools and Documentation (SMTD) Media would provide
guidance on the OpenManage Products/tools
.
• ITA is available with OM7.2 and this is the last release available to the customer. ITA is
only available through web download from
www.dell.com/support. ITA is going
through End of Life (EOL), post this release. Dell recommends customers to migrate
their existing ITA installation to OpenManage Essentials.
