Dell OpenManage IT Assistant
Dell OpenManage IT Assistant provides a central point of access to monitor and manage systems
on a local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). By allowing an administrator a
comprehensive view across the enterprise, IT Assistant can increase system uptime, automate
repetitive tasks, and prevent interruption to critical business operations.

IT Assistant can be installed on Dell systems running Windows 2008 R2 (64-bit) and
Windows 7.0 (64-bit) operating systems with WOW64 component enabled.
Supported Linux Operating Systems for IT Assistant
IT Assistant cannot be installed on Dell systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server operating systems. These systems can however, launch IT Assistant through
supported browsers (Firefox 3.0).
