Introduction
Overview
This guide contains information to help you install Dell™ OpenManage™
Server Administrator on managed systems. A managed system is a system that
has supported instrumentation agents installed that allow the system to be
discovered and polled for status through Server Administrator.
Server
Administrator provides easy-to-use management and administration of local
and remote systems through a comprehensive set of integrated management
services. For more information on Server Administrator, see "Dell OpenManage
Server Administrator".
This document also contains information on installing and using the Remote
Enablement feature of Dell OpenManage Server Administrator. It contains
information on using the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator Web Server
to manage remote systems. The Remote Enablement feature is currently
supported on Microsoft

Windows

, Microsoft Hyper-V™, Hyper-V Server,
Linux, VMware
®
ESXi, and Citrix™ XenServer™ 5.5 operating systems.
