通过指导您进行易于遵循的逐步安装过程，Dell™SystemsBuildandUpdateUtility提供了 Microsoft®Windows®、Red Hat®Enterprise Linux®和 SUSE®Linux

安装操作系统
执行下列步骤以确定系统上是否已安装了某个操作系统：
1. 确保键盘、鼠标和显示器已连接至系统，然后打开系统电源。
2. 阅读并接受软件许可协议以继续。
如果系统显示信息指出可引导的驱动器不存在或未找到操作系统，则表明您的系统中尚未安装操作系统。请准备好操作系统 CD 并继续执行以下步骤。
如果您的系统中已安装操作系统，则无需继续此过程。请参阅操作系统的安装 说明文件并按照说明完成安装过程。
执行下列步骤以在系统上安装操作系统：
1. 将 Dell Systems Management Tools and Documentation DVD 插入 DVD 驱动器中。
2. 重新启动系统并从 DVD 进行引导。
屏幕将显示"Boot Menu"（引导菜单）。
3. 选择 Dell Systems Build and Update Utility（Dell 系统构建和更新工具公用程序）进入 Dell Systems Build and Update Utility Home（ Dell 系 统 构 建和更新工具
公用程序主页）屏幕。
4. 单击"Server OS Installation"（服务器操作系统安装）对应的"Configure"（配置），或单击左窗格中的"Server OS Installation"（服务器操作系统安装）。
5. 按照逐步说明配置硬件并安装操作系统。

使用 Dell Systems Build and Update Utility 安装操作系统时，Dell Systems Build and Update Utility 允许将相关系统管理软件安装文件复制到硬盘驱动器上，并将"Install
Server Administrator"（安装 Server Administrator）和"Delete Server Administrator Installation Files"（删除 Server Administrator 安装文件）图标放置在桌
面上。只有在使用 Windows Server 2003 和 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 时才会创建这些图标，而在 Windows Server 2008 和 SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 操作系统上没
有这些图标。

注： 在运行 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 或 SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 操作系统的系统上，在操作系统安装后首次引导时，系统会提示您安装 Server Administrator。
