You can install management station and managed system software
in the same directory or different directories. You can also select the
directory for installation.
NOTE: Only DRAC Tools and BMU are supported on the Red Hat
Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server operating systems.
Pre-Installation Guidelines
The following are some guidelines to be followed before installing
the management station software:
• IT Assistant is not a supported feature on the x64 editions of
Windows Server 2003 Standard, Windows Server 2003
Enterprise, Windows Server 2008. IT Assistant is also not
supported on any edition of Microsoft Windows Small
Business Server.
• IT Assistant installation is not supported on systems with
systems management software prior to version 4.3. If version
4.2 or an earlier version (>=3.0) of the systems management
software is installed on your system, you cannot directly
upgrade to version 5.5. To preserve your settings, upgrade to
