PERC 5/E Adapter
The PERC 5/E Adapter supports the following Dell systems: 840, 860, 1850, 1900, 1950, 2850, 2900, 2950, 2970, 6800, 6850, 6950, R900, and R805.

PERC 5/i Adapter
The PERC 5/i Adapter supports the following Dell systems: 840, 6850, 6950, and 1430SC.

Dell OpenManage version 5.3 supports only SP3 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server version 9.
NOTE: All references made to PowerEdge 840, 2950, and 2900 also apply to PowerVault 100, PowerVault 500 and PowerVault 600 respectively.
NOTE: The RAID cards support both 32- and 64-bit versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems and only 64-bit versions of the SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server operating systems. However, ia64 versions of any operating system are not supported.
NOTE: All references made to PowerEdge 840, 2950, and 2900 also apply to PowerVault 100, PowerVault 500 and PowerVault 600 respectively.

