Installation Requirements
The following sections describe the general requirements for managed systems software.
Supported Operating System Versions
The managed systems software runs, at a minimum, on each of the following operating systems:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS, ES, and WS, (version 3) x86, Update 6
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS, ES, and WS, (version 3) for Intel
®
Extended Memory 64 Technology
(Intel EM64T) Update 6
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS, ES, and WS, (version 4) for Intel x86
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS, ES, and WS, (version 4) for Intel EM64T
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (version 9), SP3 for Intel EM64T
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (version 10) Gold, for Intel EM64T
