This readme file contains the latest information about new features, in addition to information about
known issues.

This readme contains the latest information about software, firmware, and driver versions, in addition
to information about known issues.

Installation Requirements
The following sections describe the general requirements for Server Administrator.
Supported Operating System Versions
Server Administrator supports each of the following operating systems:
• Windows 2000 Server SP4 (includes Server and Advanced Server)
• Windows Server™ 2003 R2 (includes Standard and Enterprise editions)
• Windows Server 2003 SP1 (Web Edition)
• Windows Server 2003 Standard and Enterprise x64 R2 (except Remote Access Controller III and
IT Assistant)
• Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 (includes Express, Standard, Workgroup, and Enterprise editions)
NOTE: The Dell OpenManage 5.1 installer offers Multilingual User Interface support on Windows Storage
Server 2003 R2, Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 R2, Express x64 Edition with Unified Storage, and
Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 R2, Workgroup x64 Edition with Unified Storage. The Multilingual User
Interface Pack is a set of language specific resource files that can be added to the English version of a supported
Windows operating system. However, the Dell OpenManage 5.1 installer supports only five languages: German,
Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese
